Thomas regularly offers training and capacity-building workshops, including facilitating whole courses. He has taught as part of either undergraduate or graduate programmes at the University of Cambridge, University of Geneva, University of Johannesburg, University of Oxford, and the University of Pretoria. He has also supervised a number of doctoral students.
